Its seems sinking dry air is vanishing? :eek: also is that Weak ridge N.O. mets were talking about earlier Flatning out or slowing or is Ivans increased speed giving me that false reading? thanks all .... we are about 9 miles north of biloxi and we will make a stay or leave call at 6am! I'VE NEVER left but if its a cat 4 :eek: ........................BYE!

Ughhh........ You might want to leave NOW!! By 6am you will already be feeling the rath of Ivan and road conditions may be too bad. Just look at the radar, the squall lines are getting closer and closer as I type.

I know a few people who are staying in their houses in N.O. Stupid decision, but I think they might just luck out. You, on the other hand need to leave. If it were me, I'd leave.

Look, this is going to probably be a Cat V storm with MAJOR damage resulting to your area.
Nine miles is NOTHING to a storm of this strength.

Please find shelter farther inland.
There is even talk of the Casion Barges coming unmoored and moving about.
I just wouldn't take the chance wit this one.

Thanks all! beleive it or not I'm heading SOUTH! :eek: yep 2 blocks from the GOMEX! I am to report on my Job a KAFB in Biloxi WHERE I will shelter with other Essential Employees and Families. Its my family I'm trying to decide on I can take them with me AND the building is built like a bank vault plus chances are we dont loose power and I can talk with storm 2k!
