Ivan Has Turned Into a Monster This Evening!
Check out this view and watch the system literally explode as the day progressed, until now, as Ivan has turned into a mammoth super-hurricane. I believe this system could be turning into a category 5, as we speak!! http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/tropic/real- ... vanh2.html

I wonder if smaller storms go thru as much eyewall replacement as there counter parts like Frances.I had it explain not long ago that the large storms like Frances have to wait longer to get the energy to the core because of there size.Like those donation bins at the museum's that spiral down. The bigger the circle the longer it takes to get coin in the middle. The same principle basically applies.Just thinking that if the energy can get to center quicker is it necassary for eyewall replacement if that is the reason for the eyewall replacement lack of energy. This energy part was explain like this by a met student in terms us layman might understand.
