I don't think they'll be there through the eyewall- the stations lost part of it's roof already.

I thought I just heard him say they're expecting the eyewall to pass at 5 their time... is that right?

It's 3:15 p.m. on Grenada, the eye is nearing...I can only imagine the conditions down there. But inside the radio station studio, running on and off on backup generator, the DJ puts on George Benson's "Breezin'".

Now that's taking it in stride. 8-)

You can hear the wind howling in the background as this guy broadcasts. What an eerie sound!!

They're getting phone calls about roofs coming off, telephone poles down, trees down, etc. Their cameraman was hit by a falling tree, hurt his foot.

Wow, what a way to experience this.

looks like the eye is getting ready to cross. lots of roof damage, trees down.

some boats that havent been secured have now run aground.

and they just went off the air. that was one of the creepiest things i've ever heard

Godspeed GBN and Grenada!!!
