This high has been progrssively moving ahead of the storm...

When we see the storm start to catchup on the western boundaries of it, then we know the turn is imminant.

Here is a map of the lower level winds....
These winds out of the east seem to becoming more and more prevalent as the time passes...
VERY NOT GOOD for south fla.

Are all those east winds over the Bahamas part of the high/ steering current? That doesn't look good.
