NOTE TO ALL ON BOARDS

#1 Postby DoctorHurricane2003 » Sun Aug 29, 2004 1:08 pm

It is important to remember that 1-5 degrees difference in track location or 5-10 degrees in movement now could mean either landfall in NC or landfall in Miami. For example....if the actual location of Frances on Monday is .5-1 degree south of the projected location....it could go into Miami.......or if it is .5-1.5 degrees north of the projected location....it could go into SC/NC. It is important to monitor every computer model run through Thursday to denote a specific track. We will have a better idea of a U.S. Landfall on Wednesday, and we should be certain of where on Thursday. Please keep this in mind when forecasting in 72+ hours. Thanks! :-)

I have a friendly suggestion -- your topic title could be more specific.

This being a message board, anything that anyone posts is indeed a "Note to all on boards"

How about something like "Tiny track changes very important"

Excuse me for acting like the topic police, but my forecasting skills are showing no signs of development.
