If Frances does indeed hit the EC of Florida... what the weather trend will be once Frances is in the Gulf? Recurvature to the Northeast, or will Frances keep chugging WNW into Texas/LA? Just wondering what will affect Frances once in the gulf.

I've yet to figure that one out too. I guess we need to see exactly what part of Florida it does hit (If it hits Flordia) and then just go from there.

Just think of Andrew though, went right through Flordia and hit again in Louisiana.

It all depends on what forces are in place to steer the storm. To do That ,we would need a crystal ball at this stage in the game
