Gulf Frontal Boundary & new development?

#1 Postby HouTXmetro » Fri Aug 13, 2004 1:45 pm

Well last week there was the possibility that and old frontal boundary sitting over the gulf could spawn another TC. Is this still possible with our existing frontal boundary extending well into the BOC. Iv'e noticed showers developing along the frontal boundary over the Southern Gulf. How far do we expect this front to move and is any type of development possible? If development is not likely or not possible, what makes this front different from the last one which everyone was expecting development even though it didn't occur. Inquiring minds would like to know.
