What about central and east Florida?

#1 Postby dolphinslady » Fri Aug 13, 2004 3:59 am

Hi everyone. Wonderful board here!

Just curious...when Charley does make landfall, wherever that may be, how much is crossing through Florida going to weaken him? I mean, if he hits the west coast at 110, is he going to lose strength that fast that the central and east parts aren't going to feel the stronger effects?

I know there's going to be tons of rain, I think we're already getting that!

Thanks!

Vero Beach should receive tropical storm conditions at worst as it will be south any any possible re-emergence point.

If Charley makes landfall as a 3, expect it to weaken to a 1. The re-analysis of Donna has it making landfall as a marginal 3 and re-emerging as a weak 1
