The remnants of TD@ are now centered about 75 Miles North of Cancun, Mexico in the Southeast Gulf of Mexico. This disturbance has continued to organize overnight and move in a Northwesterly direction. Radar out of Cancun and satellite observations suggest that this system has redeveloped and a 1013mb low has formed in this area. Conditions in the Southern GOM are favorable for continued redevelopment of this disturbance and a tropical depression could form later today if this trend continues. Air Force reconnaissance is scheduled to investigate this system early this afternoon.
A tropical wave centered about 150 miles East of the Windward Islands continues moving West-Northwestward around 25 mph. Currently it is showing no signs of tropical development. However, showers and storms associated with this disturbance are beginning to affect the Islands and residents can expect some heavy rains and gusty winds as this system moves through the Islands into the Eastern Caribbean.
Another tropical wave is located about 375 miles East of Barbados and is moving West at around 25 mph. It has a 1014mb low associated with it located near 11N, 55W. This system has continued to organize as it approaches the islands and is being monitored for development into a tropical cyclone.
Elsewhere in the Atlantic Basin no tropical storm formation is expected through Tuesday.
