A Hurricane Warning is in effect for South Florida.
Upper level winds appear favorable for further development (though that seems to change in the blink of an eye)
rapid intensification likely

How about:

-Bermuda High expected to drive Hurricane _______ westward
-Trough hanging up over the Ohio Valley
-Trough expected to lift out
-TUTT will weaken
-Long-tracking, westward-moving storm
-Recon has found a west wind
-Hurricane conditions likely within the next 12 hours
-ULL has backed southwest
-Strong high pressure has bridged the trough

I agree, in fact I HOPE it's just a TS, given the name's past history of being all hurricanes.

So, with that:

"Bonnie is not expected to become a hurricane."
