We could know as early as this week...

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

We could know as early as this week if Isidore and Lili were retired. These two storms are up for consideration and the Region IV Hurricane Committee will make a decision between April 1-3 if they should be retired.

So it looks like a busy week with that and the release of Dr. Gray's April forecast for 2003.

Neither should be retired! For one neither was a Major cane at landfall and the damage was from both storm combined and that part of the gulf coast had already had alot of rain besides from what they got from both canes! So neither should be retired imo.

Both Isidore and Lili should be retired, but it would not surprise me if they aren't.

As for Dr. Gray, knowing him he will probably keep his numbers as they are. Conditions still look ripe for a rather active season.
