East coast trough is a very good thing not a bad
Some of you I know are dissapointed that most of these system are going to be turning away from the East coast. But as some has forecasted this season like HM .This was indeed prediceted. This season is alot like seasons 2003 and 95 where we did see alot of east coast threats but those summers had mostey a predomate trough rige trough type pattern which steeled most of the storms away from the East coast.Because of the trends this summer.I strongely beleave this is the pattern as well for this tropica season. Many tropica systems are likey to be turned away from the coast.due to the trough. The only way one could make land fall on the east coast is if the trough happen to lift out or diged in the Ohio Vally.Something like happen with Isable last season. But it is a rare thing. And seeing two isable type storms tracks and same pattern set up in two years would be very rare. And very very unlikey to happen. For those who are dissapointed.Tell that to the people up North.Where they all ready have to much rain with all the flooding condtions going on this year.A tropica system making land fall on the east coast would likey be deavating for those rain soak places for parts of the middle Alantic and the Northeast. So having a east coast trough is a good thing. Not a bad thing. The gulf coast those will need to watch this pattern those.Because that is one of the spots I beleave are in major risk this year for some land falling storms.
