I know this is really on the liberal side, but since this is mostly based on water temps alone (I think?) it does give some interesting clues that there's a lot of heat in the oceans out there for the season.

I thought it was somewhat interesting, anyways. Looks like a lot of fuel for whatever might try to form later - at least with ocean heat content anyways.

Of course it all depends on if atmospheric conditions are right for anything to reach anywhere close to 'Maximum Potential', so take these graphics with a bit of salt.
