Weak low is over Costa Rica

#1 Postby cycloneye » Thu May 20, 2004 6:37 am

http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/MRLM.html

According to the observations in that country it shows pressures between 1010-1008 mbs suggesting that a low is in the vicinity and TPC says so too at the TWD.Also the wind data are variable from different directions. So as that low is inland nothing will happen in the caribbean unless a new low forms in another part of the caribbean sea.

Do you think another low has formed, further eastward? Most of the convection is now localized in the middle of the caribbean, and it in more favorable conditions.
