GFS 10 Day..............
Showing a TC moving up between Cuber and Haiti across the southern Bahama's and out to see where cooler waters will certainly be a problem. Wonder if we will see a sub-tropical hybrid system relying more on baroclonic gradients more than an actual warm core TC if anything at all?

Well Brent, normally I'd say somewhat but not necessarily this time of year, especially if you have a retreating Atlantic ridge and an active Jet still over CONUS.

Subtropical and hybrid aren't the same thing. There are no fronts involved with a subtropical cyclone.
One of these days I'll probably put up a "Subtropical/Hybrid/Extratropical Gude" just because it's getting so enormously frustrating seeing the terms misused on a regular basis on all tropical boards.

Boy you are an easy one to frustrate. Forgive me for leaving the word..or.. out from between sub-tropical and hybrid, I do know the difference, just a typo. How come all your posts are nothing more than derogatory posts toward others posters?

I'm really not concerned with what he does, actually! He could learn some tact in how he scolds a post IMO!
