You have to register at link below to see this full disk image of the ITCZ and it is FREE. :darrow: :darrow: :darrow: :darrow: :darrow:

Here is another sat link that is very good too if you dont want to register at the above site.

Nothing will happen now as the ITCZ axis is well below 10n now in some spots near the equator but it is interesting to see that area with areas of convection. But the jet is nearby with 100kt upper winds so being the jet so low in latitud any blob of convection that trys to form and move more north closer to 10n is blown off.

Easterly waves

Can't wait to see those tropical waves lined up like B-52s about to take off. Of course, I temper that with the fact that I also wish for no one to get hurt by the resulting tropical cyclones. We know they're coming. Just be ready. Right?

Great point. As i have said in the past. It's a double edged sword. As weather enthusiasts, we love the hurricanes and storms, but we don't want the damage and loss of life. Being prepared is key

It also looks that the ITCZ is a bit more north in latitud than what you may expect being still in march.

Is this a sign of things to come?
