South Atlantic...

Noticed some clouds break away from ITZC headed SE into the South Atlantic... May be absoulutely nothing but since we already had one TC form here this year, I thought I would point it out...

Looks like it's going the way of nearly all SA disturbances, getting sheared apart.

Still, it's kinda cool to see what happens when the shear relaxes and a little window of opportunity opens up in a climatologically unfavorable region, like the January system, or Peter in December.
