An update to this, a mean vertical profile of the mixing ratio for the environment around a tropical cyclone is currently being created using the data from the GPS dropsondes from the G-IV aircraft. I do have all of the data, and have a program that interploates the data onto standardized grids, allowing an averaging to be conducted. Therefore, at the confrence in May, I should have a mean profile available to go along with the SSMI data presented in the abstract.
