An update to this, a mean vertical profile of the mixing ratio for the environment around a tropical cyclone is currently being created using the data from the GPS dropsondes from the G-IV aircraft. I do have all of the data, and have a program that interploates the data onto standardized grids, allowing an averaging to be conducted. Therefore, at the confrence in May, I should have a mean profile available to go along with the SSMI data presented in the abstract. Afterwards, this will be broken into quadrants and possibly by radial distance, as the SSMI data has been
