Harriet Intensifying
Tropical Cyclone TC21S (Harriet) is located 300 NNE of Learmonth (the site of a USAF Solar Observatory) with winds of 30kt. It is moving SE at 6 kt and is expected to turn SW and intensify to 50kt over the next 48 hours. Although the storm is only rated at 30kt, the latest satellite imagery shows that there has been considerable development of deep convection over the LLCC in the past 6 hours.

Harriet
is located 182 NNE of Learmonth Australia with winds of 35kt and moving SSW at 4 kt. The storm is having a hard time maintaining any sort of intensification trend or organized convection and is now approaching an area with increased shear and cooler water temperatures. Although the storm is expected to intensify to 45kt in about 36 hours, the current appearance of the system doesn't suggest that will occur.

Tropical Cyclone TC21S (Harriet) is located 160 N of Learmonth with winds of 30kt. The system is moving WSW at 3 kt and is expected to round the bulge of western Australia and dissipate in 72 hours as it encounters strong shear and cooler water. Harriet was never able to consolidate due in part to shear and also dry air entrainment off the Continent. Consequently, the storm has never intensified.
