Solar flares and TCs......

#1 Postby hial2 » Thu Oct 30, 2003 4:49 pm

Thursday thru the weekend the atmosphere's protective magnetic shield will be bombarded with historic-scale never seen before solar flares and their corresponding protons, ions and the like.
Anyone brighter than I know if this event can make a difference in the strenght-direction of Nick's remnants, or even influence weather in general?

Not unless you believe that raiation and magnetic effects will affect weather patterns (there is at least one person I knwo who feels that electricity is KEY in predicting weather- but he's a lone gunman with no proofs)

Aside from the communications problems and the complications of having so much dealing with electricity and magnetism- this wouldn't affect poor little earthlings much at all ;)
