Larry last advisory

#1 Postby WXBUFFJIM » Mon Oct 06, 2003 6:06 am

Larry is located 65 miles south southeast of Coatzacoalcos, Mexico at 4 AM CDT. Tropical Depression Larry was moving toward the south southwest at near 3 mph and this motion is expected to continue today.

Maximum sustained winds are near 25 mph with higher gusts. Larry is expected to dissipate over land during the next 24 hours.

Minimum central pressure is 1005 mb or 29.68 inches. This is the last public advisory on larry unless regeneration occurs. Heavy rains and flash floods/mudslides are likely over the next several days.

I have heard about the possibility of Larry's remnants emerging over the Pacific and then redeveloping. I guess we shall see if this happens, especially considering the source (Larry Cosgrove).

There has been general forecasts of Larry moving into the eastern Pacific and potentially reforming since at least Saturday. :)
