Larry should start to move soon

#1 Postby John » Fri Oct 03, 2003 8:53 pm

We are reminded once again that there is no substitute for reconnaissance observations. The poorly defined center of Larry appears to be Moving to the SW, maybe faster than previously thought, A ball of convection has rotated around the center and in recent High Res images it appears this convection has Pulled the LLCC around with it. Larry sits between Mid Level high pressure to its Northwest and Southeast, however there are strong indications that the Mid Level High pressure area to its Southeast is eroding and Larry should soon begin to move Southwestward, this should put the breaks on any possible Northeastward movement since it is now likely Larry will get inland Mexico well before the Next Trough makes its way Southward.
