I wouldn't board my house up right now based on any models for something that hasn't even developed.

I wouldn't board my house up for anything less than a CAT1.

Just out of curiousity, did it ever occur to you to investigate what each of those colored lines are and whether they're valid models for a storm in this location and status?

At least the model map doesn't resemble a "squashed spider" --- it looks more like a "grandaddy longlegs" spider with several legs missing :D :D

Dixie you may not need them quite yet.. If this comes this way it should be just a rain maker.

How about that, "Claudette" would have been "Curly."

There are only so many male names that begin with "L"... "Larry" mine as well be one of them. :)

What is more creative "Larry" or the next named storm "Mindy"? :D
