Threat to Canadian Maritimes increases

#1 Postby george_r_1961 » Tue Sep 30, 2003 10:14 am

Kate is now forecast to take a more westward track..increasing the threat to the Canadian Maritimes. Although this type of track is extremely rare its not impossible. I do not feel, however, the Kate will have anywhere near the impact Juan did.

It is very difficult for a system to travel all the way west in the north atlantic at his time of the year as more and more fronts get out of the US and not letting any system get too far more close to the east coast.
