TPC Plays it Safe...

#1 Postby MWatkins » Thu Sep 11, 2003 9:39 pm

The 120 hour position has been 26/72 for 4 straight forecasts.

No...Isabel isn't stationary...but it has moved 3.6 degrees west since 11PM yesterday.

The TPC is playing it safe...the rerun of the forecast track represents more or less the middle of the two possible solutions...

I was wondering the same thing about the 120 hour forecast. I used those numbers today to argue the importance of issuing a hurricane preparedness to employees this morning at work.
