Storms that would have been missed pre-satellite era

What other storms do you think would have been missed pre 90s when we really got good satellites

That is a lot of storms in the last two years. I'm surprised that Imelda 2019 and Bertha 2020 aren't included in your list since they were named literally just prior to landfall.

Imelda formed close to Texas. It would of been noticed by land base weather stations.
