A tropical wave is in the central Atlantic extending from a 1010 mb
low near 13N34W to 20N33W, moving W at 15-20 kt over the past 24
hours.
The wave is in a region of favorable deep layer wind shear
and in a region of middle level diffluence. However, the TPW and
CIRA LPW imagery show dry air intrusion W of the wave axis.
Meteosat enhanced imagery confirm the presence of Saharan dry air
and dust in the wave environment, which is inhibiting convection
at the time.

The LOW can be clearly seen here:

Image

(It's in the far right of the image, west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands, not to be confused with the area hundreds of miles to its west-northwest which the latest TWO mentions.)

Yes Abajan, that's it that's why i've open a thread on this one. Don't know what the models do with this one? Anyway, we should keep an eye on this too as upper levels winds do not seem to strong even if dry is surronding "for now "the twave in periphery. Let's wait and see what could happens.

What is the potential of this twave? Is there a low attached to it? I noticed that it is moving westward... we don't really want any more systems in the Caribbean for a while.
