What have been the most interesting storms to track in the last 5 years in your opinion? Post your thoughts here.
My faves are:
Dean and Felix (2007): It's not too often we get two Category 5 storms, but the fact they both made landfall at that intensity was incredible. I wasn't born during Andrew, Camille, or the Labor Day hurricane so it was cool to see that happen.
Ike (2008): Ike really lasted long and went from being a typical Cape verde storm to a huge catastrophic Cat 2 hurricane.
Igor (2010: The storm was incredible looking and lasted so long and I didn't expect it to do so much damage in Newfoundland
Otto, Paula, Richard, Shary, & Tomas (2010): As a whole, they made October 2010 a very exciting month on the Atlantic
Irene (2011): The drama surrounding this storm was exciting
Ophelia and Philippe (2011): They both lasted for quite awhile, and Ophelia got a second life and managed to hit Category 4 status and Philippe lasted for awhile as well which rocked.
Isaac (2012): A tropical storm with 971 mb? What the heck? That's crazy! It's gonna reach hurricane status soon but if not, a tropical storm with that low of a pressure is just crazy.
What are your choices?
