Large slug of moisture east of the Honduras and Nicaragua co

#1 Postby tailgater » Wed Aug 15, 2012 4:50 pm

I'm putting this here because I think this the area that the GFS is trying to develop in the BOC near the end of the week.
I can't see how EX -7 could get there but I've been wrong before. This area doesn't have a surface reflection yet but if T-storms continue to fire off it likely kick off some inflow.

well its actually quite clear the northern half of the wave will easily reach the BOC it ( wave axis) already is extending north to just about the southern gulf. if enough of it makes into the BOC an does redevelop.. its not out of the question the NHC would call it td7 again its hard to say they will have to track it closely to make sure a weak wave does not re-enforce the wave.. of course if it even develops. besides that i dont think we need another thread yet there is already a BOC thread and people are still discussing in the model thread.

Luis can you close this thread since everything that is in the NW Caribbean, Yucatan, Central America and the BOC are considered the remnants of ex TD 7. Sorry about the sarcasm but it might avoid some confussion.

I think my post above is clear about where to go so this thread doesn't have to be locked.
