Pretty good "S" signature though. A little weak on the south side but still worth watching :-)

Yep. But notice around the center ... some convection around the center ... and also note .. well established banding features ...

Notice in the loop ... the WADL (West African Disturbance Line) blasts well ahead of the CV wave ... and as it nears the end of the frame (convection around 40W) dies off and reveals a circulation, probably Mid Level ...
Anyway, our CV wave has decent cyclonic turning and is still generating convection ... this system is a TD ... more so than #9 ever was ...

It will still probably develop......... convection is well not very impressive, but at least as the convection is dying off the circulation is not doing the same, showing that it is a pretty healthy circulation.
