Isn't amazing that we'll gave our opinion and at this point of the season, our opinion and the total agrees? wow

Yes,is remarkable that many people are very close and two actually have the same as what the season has until this date (17/10/5) Lets see if there are a few more storms to add to the total and that causes new members to be in the drivers seat. :)

I originally forecasted 16/10/5 (the same failed number I predicted in 2009) but changed it because I didn't want to underestimate the NHC's tendency to waste names on tropical storms that barely existed. Sure enough storms like Nicole, Gaston and Bonnie have pushed us past 16. 8-)

I revised my guess to 19/11/5 because nobody else had entered that result and I wanted to be in sole possession of the prize if I won....but someone else also entered 19/11/5 just a few hours before midnight May 31. :(

All I need is Shary and Tomas, one becoming a hurricane, none becoming major hurricanes, and no huge post-season changes.... and I'll win! :double:

There is a solo frontrunner now after Shary and Tomas formed into hurricanes. Lets see if anything more forms before November 30th,and if not, chaser Jesse Bass will be proclaimed as the 2010 poll winner.

My forecast was 18/10/5. If we end at 19/12/5, then it was a pretty exceptional forecast! More like a scientifically educated good guess.

I ended up being a good bit too low in the end despite calling for 16NS, though got the major hurricane part pretty good in the end...

Oh Shary, I will never forget the terrible toll you took on my pride.

I picked 22/13/7 and thought I was a little high...is 3/1/2 within the cone of error?
