Typhoon Krovanh (12W) leaving Luzon

#1 Postby senorpepr » Fri Aug 22, 2003 11:41 pm

Looks like conditions on Luzon Island in the Philippines are beginning to improve. The highest wind gust lately was 27kt at Baguio. Clark Int'l has reported continuous light rain for about 24 hours now, reducing visibility to 4000-7000m. (2.5-4.5 mi) Krovanh's next stop looks to be southern China. JTWC pin-points the Zhanjiang area. Hong Kong and Hanoi may have to deal with it as well.
