It's a combination of the ITCZ and an African wave. It's growing by the hour and it's far enough north to gain a spin. It almost looks like something out of the Western Pacific. So, will Danielle become the monster hurricane from the East Atlantic?

It has a lot of convection, but shows no signs of organization right now. I want to see what it looks like a day from now though.

I think we have a chance of seeing something from this, I suspect it'll be weak though given conditions aren't really that much different from Colin.
