How many years until the hurricane phase that began in 95 en

Are we at the beginning or end of the cycle?

Not a whole lot is understood about the AMO (Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation), but it seems to be a 25 to 40 year cycle, which would put us near or just past the middle of the cycle.
