I'm a little surprised this thread is not getting more play. The T-storms are just shear induced right now but I think this will continue for the next several days. The ULL or trough looks like it's slowly lifting out NWard so a ULH could be building in this area and a good deal of moisture is being brought up from the EPAC(MIMIC). Conditions look to get more favorable in the next few days just waiting for a trigger.

Any chance when the high shifts in the Gulf, this may bring us some much needed rain to SE Texas?

Our chances for rain have increased in SE TX/SW LA. Deeper moisture is being pulled in from the SW GOM Upper Low along with a further eastward progression of the dryline in Central TX.
