Hurri-tweets

#1 Postby hurricanetrack » Fri Feb 20, 2009 7:08 pm

Hello all- just thought I would post that I have been active on Twitter for a few weeks now. Loving its ease of use, especially from mobile devices. HurricaneTrack.com plans to use Twitter during our field work to post updates, video links and raw data from our equipment. Anyone interested in following along, please feel free. I think it has great potential for spreading helpful information during hurricane emergencies. I make regular "tweets" about goings on at the site and plan to really utilize it during the season. I think cross-sharing info and posting links to other sites such as Storm2k can be very helpful to people looking for information away from the mainstream media.
