Theirs a nice little naked swirl moving west very quickly approaching the Leeward Islands. Pretty neat considering its January.

The San Juan NWS has been talking about it this week.

AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN JUAN PR
234 PM AST FRI JAN 23 2009

.DISCUSSION...LOW LEVEL TROUGH RESPONSIBLE FOR LAST NIGHTS HEAVY SHOWER
ACTIVITY NOW WELL WEST OF THE AREA AFFECTING HISPANIOLA. IN ITS
WAKE...A MUCH DRIER AND MORE STABLE AIRMASS IS ADVECTING IN FROM
THE EAST. EXPECT STABLE CONDITIONS THROUGH THE WEEKEND WITH SOME
PASSING SHOWERS OVERNIGHT TONIGHT AROUND EASTERN COASTAL
LOCATIONS. SATURDAY AND SUNDAY BOTH LOOK BEAUTIFUL WITH MOSTLY
CLEAR SKIES AND MINIMAL SHOWER ACTIVITY CONFINED TO WESTERN PR
EACH AFTERNOON. BY LATE SUNDAY INTO MID NEXT WEEK...GFS SUGGESTING
LOW LEVEL REFLECTIONS FROM A TUTT CURRENTLY NEAR 55W IN THE
TROPICAL ATLC WILL DRIFT OVER THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN. SEVERAL
BROKEN 700MB VORT FEATURES WILL COVER THE AREA AND LIKELY LEAD TO
SHOWERY CONDITIONS FOR MOST OF NEXT WEEK...BUT IN A MUCH MORE
SEASONABLE FASHION THAN THE DEEP MOISTURE OF THE LAST FEW DAYS.

This is like another similar system that I talked about in a thread last week.
