Question about storm surge.
In the unlikely event that my area is getting a direct hit, how do you determine what the storm surge effects would be for where you live? I ask this because my parents live a few blocks from Lemon Bay in Englewood,Fl. and I live 10miles up river from Charlotte Harbor (I'm on a finger canal of the Myakka River).
