Texas Law Enforcement

I don't understand letting twenty thousand people remain when their is a mandatory evac order. Tampa Police Department didn't give me the impression we had a choice in staying when they came in the middle of the night over the pa waking us up. They said we had an hour to get out. A neighbor was giving them problems about leaving but changed his mind when they made him put his name, address, phone number, social security number, and next of kin in permanent marker on his arm. They came and made sure we got out okay. My father was disabled from a stroke. I will never forget what one of the officer's said. For every minute I waste discussing this with you that's one less person I can possibly save down the line. If that doesn't make you feel two inches high, I don't know what would.
