Looks like the only thing we're missing is eastward movement on the south side. Still doesn't look like it's closed off yet. Definitely looking better though!

That is strange. The leading edge band is curving in towards it, not the LLCC at 23.4N. When I get home from work I'll be in the 'securing loose objects" mode. That build up of convection has me a bit nervous :o

I was looking actually on the western side of the convection ... and unlike yesterday, I see something this morning I didn't see yesterday, LL clouds moving SW ... The LLS to the south is still there but losing its hold ... I knew that during the night it would hold, but offered all possiblities ...

I'm still absorbing all the data and will likely post a huge discussion later this morning.

I disagree. The system still has the LLCC, quite diffuse but there, to the SW side and in fact convection seems to have moved closer to it. Maybe it is my old tired eyes, but I am not picking up the NE center when I look. I don't expect anything out of this disturbance except heavy rains(just what FL needs) and some gusty winds till it gets to the GOM and has a chance to develop. Things should start to change developmentwise in about 60 hours, IMO.

Now that I have checked some other loops, I have to disagree with myself. Looks almost like the LLCC has dissipated completely and that the MLC is trying to take over. Definitely not to the surface yet and with shear on the NE and S sides still working, still don't see development till the GOM.

At first I was surprised Recon went, but then I remembered today is an upper level flight also which, imo is desperately needed to really determine what is going on with the upper levels. So at a minimum we will know a lot more about what is going on around 91L later today.

Nice convective development

It is nice to see some good convection develop with this system. It still appears that any significant low level circulation development may not occur until the system progresses into the GOM.

The shape of 91L looks good, but like Marshall said, the East side doesn't have any true movement to it. It looks like the center is more IN THE CENTER of the cloud mass.

Will 91L have enough room to develop before it gets to the coast? Or will the Bermuda High start to move it a bit more northerly?
