Will this year repeat 1997, tropically speaking? Don't count

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Little boy? :?:

The article is probably right that the rest of this season won't be as quiet as 1997 was. However, it incorrectly stated that Dolly hit Southeast Texas on July 23rd. I was out of town at the time, but I'm pretty sure a hurricane didn't hit here. Image

I feel this season will be about normal maybe one or two storms more then normal. But overall I don't expect a hyperactive season.
NO OFFICAL IS SAYING IT WILL BE. 2005, 1995, 1933, is what I call hyperactive.

I feel it will be active like 2000, 2001.

Sorry, I should clarify. I just meant that I speak a little French. I took several years in high school and college. Beautiful language. :)

I was thinking atomic bombs, and going "Huh?"

("Little Boy", a uranium "gun" bomb, dropped over Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. It
was followed by "Fat Man", a plutonium implosion device, dropped over Nagasaki
on August 9. Japan surrendered on August 15, ending World War II.)
