JTWC 2007 Best Track Data

This may be old news, but it says that the data was updated two days ago.

Anyway, the most interesting change was Sidr, which peaked at 140 knots (Category 5).

Interesting change, since satellite estimates warranted at least 140 kt. (Based on satellite perspectives compared to recent Atlantic hurricanes, I personally believe it peaked at 150 kt at 15/0000, with a pressure of 901mb.)

Another strange thing now: I think 2007 was the first time ever that both the Atlantic and North Indian basins (2 each) had more Cat 5 storms than the West Pacific (1)...
