How strong could an Atlantic/Carrib/GOM storm get MCP-wise?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

isn't that there a way where you can simply just upload a complete and ready to use version of that, because I can't get my head round it??

What on earth is an array veiwer?

1. Download File
2. Copy contents of file into unzipped folder
3. Run CAVDEMO (this is the array viewer) installer
4. hurr is the model
5. hurrparams contains the parameters you can edit (I'll admit it took me a while to figure this step out)

It's not that hard.

EDIT: This is what you get (30C water, hit by 10 m/s shear at 20 days)

Make sure you don't download the Fortran version if you are running windows. I'll see if I can get it to work.

Edit - Cool, works nicely. :)

don't worry, got it working now, still a tad complicated but very intresting so far.

got a stormk upto about 155mph but it seemed to undergo a little weakening to 145mph (Eyewall replacement prehaps, it did get a larger TS force windfiled.)

Last year for the first time in the historical record, a TC made landfall in Spain. That's cool.
