Its absolutely unreal. In downtown Ft. MEYERS

First of all, it’s Fort Myers. Secondly I just went through it and it was bizarre. I was totally encircled by storms. Literally felt like an eye of a hurricane. Calm. Then came the wind gusts. And torrential rain. This was truly bizarre.

I live in Clearwater and my family lives in Ft. Myers. Take it easy. It was a simple typo. I make a lot of them

I just saw that video the winds are 50mph and they are steady and here south of West Palm Beach the winds are just about calm that’s incredible.

It’s been very windy and gusty all evening here in palm city.

Ok well the CoC for this is clearly still evident and has recently had some pop up storms form right in the eastern edge of the circulation. Probably zero support from pros and models but there it is spinning and firing a little convection

That is an almost naked eddy in shear from the SW FL storm that never had a declared circulation.

Thank you for clarification

Learning that an eddy can’t be considered a circulation center apparently. I just assumed anything spinning had a “center of circulation”

Seems to be under the same shear as the lemon to its east fwiw
