If that verifies, if it becomes a major typhoon it may become a super typhoon, the 4th in a row. All of the major typhoons this year have become super.

Very fitting...
Sinlaku was submitted by Micronesia which the Marianas is part of. Last 2 times the name was used, 2002 and 2008, peaked at Major typhoon status, Cat 3 and 4...

Like the last 5 runs, 00Z GFS continues to develop a tropical cyclone east of the Marianas although now showing 2...

That's the second storm. The first storm is a tad weaker and landfalling 312 hours out as shown in several runs.
