This one, Typhoon Vamei, may not seem odd at first. Then notice that the equator is just below the cyclone. This hurricane developed 90miles north of the equator and hit singapore.
also there was that hurricane in the south atlantic last year that came ashore and caused deaths in brazil. no path but heres a picture of it

There is also talk of a hurricane in the medditeranean. Surely it was something else, but satellites showed a perfect hurricane structure[/img]
