Mike,

Those pictures Chad is using are from AFWA's SIDAS computer, or in other terms, their satellite image processor. They have a public page at https://afweather.afwa.af.mil/satellite.html were you can view regional pictures, but if you're lucky enough to have an AFWA password you can go to https://weather.afwa.af.mil and grab them there.
