The only chance for south Florida's major cities to be struck by a Cat 5 is from the east like Andrew. A hurricane coming from the SW has to cross a good bit of real estate to reach the cities. I was camping down in Flamingo in the Everglades this past winter, and damage from Wilma was still evident. I think another 1928 hurricane would be much worst....MGC
