If there's any problems please alert me right away. Thanks.
Hey Wxmann... As you probably noticed, I had been keeping the compilation updated and posting the new one on a regular basis - but then came August 29, 2005 and ever since I've had hardly any time to devote to the project - much less anything else. So, THANKS MUCH for stepping in and doing the dew!! I think it's pretty cool to see the members of S2K depicted in such a manner. Good Job!!
And of course, credits continue to go to Stormcenter for initiating the question in the first place last summer (man, that seems so long ago) and to the mods for allowing the thread to continue (especially Luis)!!
You're welcome, and thank you!!

I've updated the chart to include fact789 and Pearl River.

This thread was a remarkable indulgence for me, so it deserves this worthwhile bump.

I hate to say it out loud, but I'm 44 and have only been tracking the tropics since 2005 when I moved to the west coast of Florida. Back in 1983 I didn't have much interest in Hurricanes even though I lived 20 miles north of Galveston when Alicia hit. I found it boring and slept thru most of the Hurricane!
Wow, I was so young an dumb! LOL

Re: A personal question.
Hi Stormcenter,
I've made a personal pledge to either not post at all during the workday, or, to only post to the easiest questions (less distractions that way), so, this is an easy one to answer:
I'm in my early-mid 50's, and, my first hurricane encounter (by tracking it from the radio news reports we received from Miami - most followed the news by radio or newspaper at that time) was Hurricane Donna (1960).
My one memory is of the screen door blowing off a house across the street - it went flying up the side of the building and went sailing into the air (I think that's when my Mom said, "Frank, get away from the window!")
Gee, that's 48 years ago!
Ouch...

Re: A personal question.
I'm 44, and have been interested in weather since Hurricane Belle and the February 1978 snowstorm, which got me out of Catholic school for 5 straight days.
Moved to DFW area as a teenager. North Texas thunderstorms so rock. Saw more awesome storms in a Spring there than in my entire life on Long Island. Than away in the Navy, harder to really watch the weather, but did sail near a Typhoon Skip in the South China Sea mid 1980s, which actually did some damage on the carrier.
Now in Houston, waiting the next big winter storm, which will probably be this upcoming Winter.
