Mountains aren't that tall... it will weaken it some, but not rip it apart.

Cuba is alot less ready for a storm then the United states. If it go's over the big citie alot more people will die then an America. In America people have a choice to build on the coast or not. In also has the choice to get away from the storm inland. Cuba's people don't have those choices.
